This month Zeke joined the ranks of Karate Kids here at our house! He and his new friend Nick started the same day. Nick's mom and I are friends, but the boys had never met before day #1. Nick greeted Zeke with a huge hug as he opened the door on his first day, and they have been Karate friends ever since!

This picture was taken by Jason while I was gone one evening for classes. The kids got this cheapy toy Basketball Set and they LOVE it. They got out some face paint to look mean- Jason didn't have the heart to tell them that lines under the eyes are not for basketball. :)
Judah had collected money from his August birthday and a new lawn he is mowing and watched ads week in and week out watching for a deal! He is soooo into his new love of hunting and guns. He purchased his first 30-30 and feels really proud. It is very heavy for him, BUT his mama kinda took a liking to this gun. I told Judah that I might have to buy it from him- it fits me perfectly and I must say that there is some serious empowerment when you hold it and look through the scope!
I love this time of year- mostly because of pumpkins and all that comes with pumpkins. We usually make many trips to pick pumpkins and we finished up September with our first trip- it is a fun family tradition and the kids feel so proud to have 'their' pumpkin on the step.
More fun times in October!

Oh I remember Hannahs first day in Karate it just doesn't seem like Zeke should be there yet. Loved the look in to your September. Have a great week. we'll have to go out shooting sometime :}

Sweet, sweet memories captured from your September...Hannah did a pretty good job of picture taking too! Zeke looked adorable in his gi...and Wow...I'm proud you let Judah get a gun...looks like hunting times ahead for your family... May God fill your October with many sweet blessings!
