So, October has started with quite a bang... remember how Zeke was down with the flu a week ago? Well... as soon as we were quite sure we were past that the household was hit with this nasty fever/intense sore throat thing. Jason and Judah ended up down - Jason missed 4 days of work this week (that's INSANE)... and now Zeke is getting it. Two trips to the Dr. and 3 people on antibiotics - in the end it was strep throat. 2 more refills in the wings in case the girls go down too.
We really don't like to use antibiotics (terrible to our immune systems)- but we decided enough was enough. We are pouring cocktails of pink stuff left and right this weekend. The boys have perked up all ready. :) Hoping for a fresh start on Monday morning! Next week will be a week of pumping the vitamin C and probotics!Now... to the germs in the house... time to scrub scrub scrub!

Hello there...Sorry to hear about everyone not feeling well...Jason was wondering yesterday about Zeke...guess his instincts were good ones! Hey, at least you are supporting October's Pink month theme ! I'm praying that everyone is feeling great soon and that the girls escape the nasty bug! Yuck! So sorry you guys have been hit so hard. I hope that the pink stuff is the answer~and that you all get well and stay that way!
Sometimes the pink stuff is the only way to go when the bug is really nasty!!

Hope everyone is feeling better soon! Antibiotics...not my favorite thing either...but they are definitely the answer for strep throat! Hang in there!
If I could only recall how many pink "cocktails" we had in our house with YOUR name on them! Not a fun time! Give them a big hug from Grandma!
