Presidential Election 2008
So, I have never bridged the conversation of politics on my blog. It's usually about my life and family. Today is the day. I have really been struggling with this presidential election... until now. I am so excited about the idea of Palin in office. I knew nothing about her... until tonight. I have been looking at all kinds of websites about her. I think she will bring GREAT things to Washington. She is an average American who cares! She is a mama! She is sharp and young. And... it sure appears that she has had an encounter with Jesus in her life! Here's hoping!

I would agree... this is defintely going to be an interesting election. Mom, Dad and I watched a show on the life of McCain today... very, very interesting.

Oh yes!! She makes the old fart she's running with much more appealing.
I am excited now, too! Up to this point I was going to vote for Dwight Shrute. I listened to her speach on NPR and got chills...she is amazing and SO what is needed in DC.

Yes, I can agree with Lindsay on one thing, we do need change! We need to protect our country for our children's future. This will require pulling out of a war that was begun on false pretenses, continuing to protect our country, and turn around the deficit that has not been in the black since the last Democratic president, without creating more financial hardships on the middle and lower classes. It is time to remove the loopholes that give the big businesses the tax breaks and allows them to outsource jobs overseas that we need here for our people. All I can say is Go Barack!
