I love this time of year!Flowers are still blooming like crazy
School is in full swing
It is a perfect 76 degrees outside
There is a crisp clean smell every morning
My husband brewing coffee in the morning
Getting into a warm shower to start the day
Baking and cooking
Lunches made in the mornings with homemade goodies inside
I am itching to get the fall decor and pumpkins out!
A funny thing this week- Hannah had a gigantic growth spurt- SOCIALLY. One day mid-week she slipped away with the phone and called a friend to plan what they would wear the next day at school. Jason thought maybe she answered a call (because how would she have known the number to call?!?) ... that is until he found this: A TINY piece of paper with a phone number penciled on it. This went on for a couple of nights... now it is being tamed down by the mothers. They are darling though!! I love that she has a friends that she loves so much!

The girls all exchanged phone number's tonight on the car ride.
We've had an awesome year for growing petunias. Plenty of warm sunshine, keep the soil wet, and Miracle Gro once a week, and we can't see the flower pots any more.
I love seeing kids reach milestones like that. Let us know how you feel the first time she gets a call from a boy! :-)
