We have to choose very hot days to clean out our friendly lizard's home, because he needs to keep warm. He was so incredibly proud as he sun bathed in the heat today. It was fun to watch him hold his head so high. As funny as it may seem, this character has a lot of personality.



This weekend was my first summer class, so I spent Friday afternoon/evening and most of Saturday inside a classroom, looking out the window at the incredible weather. When I came home, I did enjoy a great evening out with my kids and husband.... mowing. :) This time of year is CRAZY! Jason and I are burning the candle at both ends, and no one seems to be getting enough sleep. I am definitely not doing well with my 'wellness pyramid'. I played around with taking picture of my family as we were out. I was just loving each of them. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, so they say. I always loved Jason's intensity and his eyes.

Here is the PRIME person who is not getting enough sleep... can you tell? He was not excited with pictures of his cranky attitude. :) Aaahhh.... parenting! If you can't take pictures and enjoy this, you might loose your mind.




Here is Mr. J... he is really really blowing my mind these days... becoming a BIG kid. He is now standing nearly at my shoulders! His interests and his mind stretch me all the time. The incessant questions can sometimes leave me exhausted, but his interest in learning warms my heart! Gotta love him!
