The Dinner... one of my favorite meals (to cook) all year long!
I love the make the turkey... bake pies... and a new tradition... movie after movie with my friend Tiff's "I love you" popcorn mmm mmm mmm!! We snacked on it all weekend long!
Friday, I spent the first seven hours of my day shopping shopping shopping! My alarm rang at 3AM!! It was not nearly as "fun" alone this year... but I got some SERIOUS shopping done!
Saturday.... another favorite traditions, we headed to the mountains for our Christmas Tree. This year was so incredibly mild, not a stitch of snow, and I didn't even where a coat! We have grown this tradition over the years to include some friends, burgers at the 'general store', and lots of little people running in the woods.
One last thing... I forgot to mention, on Thanksgiving night, Hannah gave us a big scare! She flopped down on her pillow face first ( her bed is up against the window in her room) and she landed on her window sill on her nose! We are pretty sure that she broke it, but thankfully it has healed quickly and straight! I don't know how well you can see the bruising in this picture or not, but it was not a fun time for a mom!!
Now... the tree is up, and inside the house is decorated. I am crossing my fingers that we tackle the outside this weekend! Blessings!

Your Thanksgiving was wonderful - isn't it good when we are able to just {rest} and {be}.
Blessings to you this weekend -
Jayden once flopped on her bed too, and that took us to the emegency room and 6 stiches. I found your blog from facebook. You have a wonderful family. The children at the school are so blessed you have you. Also thanks for the zipper info last night. I had trouble with those pants all day. Have a great weekend.
