The Christmas Story

This year our church did a children's production of the traditional Christmas Story with some non-traditional twists... it was just precious!!! Zeke and Hannah were both angels. Zeke cracked us up because when it was time to get in his place, he only had one shoe on. So, he did the whole thing with one shoe on and one off... there was no time to go back and fix it. The show must go on!!

Judah was one the the shepherds, who were cowboys- actually ranch hands from Kansas- they also keyed off of the wise men and played a little jazzy numbers on their brass instruments. The wise men were quite traditional singing We Three Kings, until one of them asks if they could please jazz this up... it was really cute! The kids loved the fun of it.

Hannah had her first solo and she did a GREAT job. I think she might have a future being musical... she is pretty stinkin good, and she loves the spotlight. I was really really proud of her!

Watch out family... we are bringing the video! :)

Loved Hannah's solo. She's right on key!! Look out family---here comes another great singer! Zeke, I loved your singing through your halo. Judah, you can really rock with that trumpet. Thanks for inviting me. :)
