The Big Picture

So many times in my life, I have asked God to show me the big picture in my life... and most times He asks me to trust Him and He shows me one piece at a time.

This time I was not asking... and God just began to show me. I have had a tugging on my heart to not close the door to community counseling as my master's program is coming to a close. (The process of becoming licensed takes thousands of supervised hours.) For several weeks now, I have felt drawn to a particular individual to be my supervisor during the process of becoming licensed, but we have barely even met. I couldn't see any reason why this person would even have any interest in investing in me, so I was very reluctant.

But the feeling would not go away. So... I took the plunge and made a cold call. (I hope to share more details soon)

That call... may have changed the path of my life. That call lead to a dynamic conversation with a professor of mine... and hours of conversation between Jason and I. I feel like God showed me 'the big picture', and now He is asking me to trust Him as I walk the long path... to the big picture.

My heart is so excited... and so scared at the same time. Please pray for me. Will share more soon.
