What a Merry Christmas!

Isn't it fun being a parent? There is nothing quite like it for me. I loved this Christmas more than most I can think of. We celebrated the 12 days of Christmas with a letter from Papa and Grandma every morning telling a little more of the story of Jesus' Birth with a small gift each day to represent the portion of the story we read. Mixed in there, we spent days and days relaxing, cooking, shopping, wrapping and looking forward to the big day. On the eve of Christmas Eve we pretended it was really Christmas Eve and we opened one gift, followed by a "Christmas Morning" experience at home. The kids were so much fun this year. Zeke even shouted a couple of times in excitement because he got what he asked for. He was delightful! Hannah and Judah were so full of hugs and kisses during the gift giving. My favorite part of all was watching them love on one another! One thing I enjoyed the most was that they didn't receive tons and tons of gifts, but the ones they did receive where perfect.... they hit the sweet spot. I will cherish this year for many years to come!

Zeke was so excited! Hannah reading her new princess Bible.

Judah totally loving his new remote helicopter and joyful Hannah!

Judah really loved his Transformer!

In the afternoon of Christmas Eve we loaded up and headed over the mountain to Jason's Family... where we attended Christmas Eve Service at the church we were married. It is so sweet to go back and visit there each year. We visited with old friends, and had a time of connecting with God through worship. We celebrated Christmas with Jason's family and returned home today. What a great time!

I can't finish this without sharing some of my favorite new things... :-)
