Interview

I finally heard back from OSU today. I have a 4.5 hour interview on Friday beginning at 9:00am! Holy Moly!

Today I received a schedule that included a group interview, individual interview, lunch with professors and current students, and a group project.

Uhm... this is bigger than I thought it would be!

They sent the questions for the interview... so I am thinking and reviewing my thoughts over and over again.

Taking lots of deep breaths... but feeling quite confident all at the same time.

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3

This is VERY exciting! It looks like a similar interview process when I first applied for my master's program there.

You have a huge advantage over the other candidates in that you have some recent, substantial school counseling experience. And that's more than many of the profs will have. Unsolicited advice: When you're answering some of the questions, use some of your knowledge of state and national school counseling standards, and don't be afraid to tie in some real-life examples from school (that the other interviewees won't have). You're going to do great!
