Today was one of those days when the touch of God was exactly what I needed and received. It was one of those days when it was my number being called.
Jason was teaching Sunday School, and I usually don't 'get much' when he's teaching (cause I have heard it all already- he processes with me before getting there). But today was different. The Lord really used him to show me some stuff about relationships and friendships. I have a renewed appreciation for a few individuals in my life and all that they bring to me. I felt blessed by the gifts of friendship the Lord has given me, and I feel challenged to give more to a couple relationships that are strained.
THEN... worship happened (it's always a time God gets to me) but today it was the last song it just struck me (don't even remember what the song was now). I could sense God's presence so very close. We waited and waited the stillness was incredible. It was then that I KNEW my number was being called for the day. Today was 'one of those days'.
Actually, I should have known the night before- the Lord was dealing with my attitude while I was reading the bible to Judah. Those kids versions always get to me!
I have a new attitude today. To be faithful even when I am tired of being faithful. To persevere. To take the higher road. To CHOOSE life and not death.
Today my number was called to be refreshed. My heart was touched with grace. I am reminded that in order to live a life in the Spirit I need to live in communion with others... encouraging one another, worshiping my creator, having a heart of thanks, being submitted to others in love, and to be continually filled.
I have been created to leak... and I need the refilling. So thankful that today was one of those days...

From where I was on stage, yesterday's worship service felt like one of the most authentic I've ever been in. Sounds like I'm not the only one.
That is so cool. I, for one, love you. I pray, with raising three beautiful kids, a marriage,a Master's program,and a job that your Savior totally fills you daily.
I need one of those days.
I love it when you can REALLY REALLY feel God's presence, and you know you were supposed to be there.
