Tonight was our first friend sleepover. Judah's best friends parents wanted to go out to the rodeo and concert tonight, so their two boys came over to play for the evening. We decided that since they would be sleeping by the time they picked them up that we should just let them stay all night.
I must say that there is something new that happens when friends sleep over rather than just a 1/2 day of play. The conversation was interesting... discussion of a swallowed marble and checking poop, "those are not called boobs, those are nipples", and a lot of late night giggles... fun fun fun!
I remember the first time I had a friend sleep over, it was incredible. There is a bond that happens when your friend is at your house when you wake up. I look forward to morning to see how they relate with one another.
I have been experiencing a lot of proud mama moments lately... I can feel my kids slowly growing and slipping out of my hands.
