Today my first born turns 8! He amazes me... growing and learning... questioning and reasoning... a very mature 8 year old if I say so myself. Judah decided to spend his birthday a little differently this year. The "birthday wishes" were much more elaborate and expensive this year, so he opted to pass on a big party in exchange for more money on gifts. Smart Kid. (although it was difficult for mom- I love parties!) So, Judah and his friend Jack spent the evening with Dad and Papi out shooting guns, followed by cake and ice cream with Scott and Sue. I was sure it was going to be a flop (not enough fluff for him), but Judah LOVED his day. One happy eight year old!
The biggest hit- a 'real' telescope from Grandma Betty and Papa! 
Scott and Judah sat on the cul-de-sac for some time trying to find a star through our cloudy sky... maybe soon!
