Is it ever really going to slow down?!? Seriously!
"The List" is stressing me out. I can feel the pace of our life being VERY different than during the school year, but as things have mellowed out... we stay up late and don't get enough sleep!
So, last week we met with the deck guy and the water feature guy... and have concluded that it's not happening this year. It's bitter sweet. It feels 'responsible'. Who likes to be responsible?! No fun in that. We are so incredibly excited about our plan, and we are not willing to give any part of it up, so we are waiting to do it. It will just strap us a little too tight for our liking.
So.. scratch two large do-to's from the list. We are working on 'the fort' for the kids. I keep tweaking my back helping move this monstrosity with Jason. The kids are excited and that keeps mom's and dad's happy.
We are out of town for the next three weekends... church related conference this weekend (no kids!), my sister's wedding next week, and 4th of July the following. It will be a revolving door to do laundry here at my house. :)
I am supposed to be cleaning house right now for a BBQ with our small group tomorrow night, as well as laundry for packing. Suppose I better get to it. :)

Oh I know what you mean. Just like I posted, it's hard to be responsible and say 'no' to something so fun! Hope you enjoyed your time away! I know Sue enjoyed the kids :)
