We did a lot this weekend, and that always feels good to get somethings accomplished. Friday was one of the most taxing days I have had on my job, so I am very happy that we had plans to go out. We took a 30 minute drive (which I needed to wind down) had a long dinner out at Hamley's with lots of chatting and catching up with some great friends. It was a really nice night out.
Saturday started a bit rough... It seems like ANYTIME that I sleep in a little and don't get a jump on the day... things start out rough! We all had hopes for the day and as a family we were not working together to reach those goals. Mid day we finally had a little family meeting... after a long time hearing one another out, we came to an agreement.
One of Hannah's hopes was to have neighbor girls over to play "beauty shop".
Judah and Zeke really wanted to go to Toys R Us with their own money... and I was longing for the sales at The Loft. (I think I have a Loft problem!) It was a quick run to town before our evening commitment. I did find a couple steals... and the boys each picked up a fun toy.
Sunday turned into catch up day! I still had not finished cleaning my house (I miss Cindy... sniff sniff), or addressed my homework issue.
Here I am... Monday morning, gearing up for state testing to begin this morning.... needing a latte.
FYI... tonight from 4:45-7:15 at our local McDonnalds the teachers of my school will be "working" and our school will receive 15% of the profits. Unfortunately... I will be in class, but my family will be attending. So... tonight is a great night to eat out, if you like McD!
Alrighty then... I really must get this day started... off to shower and have some coffee. Blessings on your week!

I have no idea what is going on with my computer, but I have been checking your blog regularly, and it always came up with the black background, and the Portland Trip post at the top. Anyways, today I logged on, and I find all these new posts! And the same thing happened to some other blogs I frequent...weird!

I recommend you all make an appointment with Hannah. Beauty regimen #3 is especially nice. As Judah says, "It's not one you have to take your shirt off for!" The bonus of #3 is all three kids help out. Zeke applies lotions (lots!) while Hannah does makeup and Judah paints nails. Hannah adjusted the nails some, however. I am now gorgeous!
