My Dad...

Today I have spent some time asking God to talk to me about how He sees my Dad. I have been blessed... and would like share the words and thoughts I have been impressed with.

Dad... The first thing I heard was that God has not forgotten you... He has a plan and a future for you. He says that your heart is larger than your physical body has the ability to hold in. He created you that way, so that your love and heart of service would overflow to those around you. You are infectious. I see the heart of an evangelist... a deep conviction to reach the lost and searching. God has given you the passion that fills you. I felt impressed that He created you exactly as you are... and the parts that you don't necessarily like are under His care... and He has a purpose for them, too. He is intensely in love with you, and He is pursuing you to know and be-friend you more. He smiles when He thinks of you.


Dad... when I think of you, you make me smile! I love you and hope that you are having a fabulous Father's Day. Please have Betty squeeze you once for me. :-) I will be praying these words over you!
