Gearing Up...
I am feeling excited about my new career. I spent some time in my office over the weekend, and the rest of the weekend I tried to get my house unpacked. This week I am in CORE training (reading). All new district employees are required to attend. Seems a bit strange that the counselor has to spend a WEEK in reading training. Whatever... I get paid for the time, and it is a time of easing into the lifestyle for the family. Jason will be home with the kids this week, and next week we are easing into our new babysitter. She is coming to our house to watch the kids, and I think it is going to work out to be a good thing for both her and for us. We are happy to have her! Well, I better finish getting my house in order tonight... cause tomorrow morning... I am a working mom! :-)

I've been thinking about you all week. How is it going?
It has been a strange week. I have been in training for 'teachers'... which I am not. So... it was kinda boring... but if I could keep my 'mom' hat on... I was learning stuff about teaching my children to read. It is GREAT material... but not super applicable to my job. Now... ask me in a week how I am doing. :-) I am excited for this next week. The real job is about to begin!
