Update on Finish Work

The finish carpenters have been busy busy busy in our new house. This first picture is of the garden tub in the master bath. Today they will be setting the tub.

This is the kitchen sink. I decided as much time as I spend at this location of my house... I wanted it to be nice. I can't believe that I am saying this... but I can't wait to do dishes in it! :-)

The kitchen is nearly finished now. The backsplash needs to be grouted... and I need to stain the beveled egde on the countertops. The beveled edges are masked right now.. so they look kinda funny in the picture.

I can't wait to get out the paintbrush! These walls are Sooo light to me. I have gotten so accustom to my bold kitchen in this house that it seems to light.

As you can tell... my life is revolving around this house right now. One other big thing stirring... is I have applied for a full time job in the school district. It will be in the school Judah is starting in this year. I feel anxious to hear if I am getting it or not. The principals are on vacation until next week... so hopefully I will hear this next week. Nothing like major life shiftings in one week. Moving... and a new lifestyle and job. If I get the job... I am looking for a "nanny" type situation for childcare. If any of you know anyone let me know. A person who likes/needs variety would be good for the job. I will have (1) full-time child, (1) 3/4 time child, and (1) 1/2 time child. Really, it could be a great job for someone... the same schedule as the schools..... blah, blah, blah! ( I would love to talk to you about how it has been for you, Linds)

Ok... I had better get back to the household duties! :-)

I love to be working... but the transition from 1/2 time to full time is going to be interesting...
Just totally trusting God with it and knowing that He will make it work! Praying for you and this possible job - let's get together soon and visit!
