To my mommy friends...

(I receieved this email from a friend, and thought it was worth sharing!)

"As I was reading in 1 Timothy this morning, I came across this really cool verse that I had never seen before! I had to send it to my mommy friends. Be encouraged: you are all doing a very good deed!!!

1 Timothy 4:10 is talking about which women can be considered widows, and it gives some requirements, and then it says, "and is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the saints, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds."

So child-rearing is seen as a very good deed by Jesus. It's the first "good deed" listed! That was such a neat encouragement for me from the Lord, and I just wanted to share it with all of you."
